MISSION

The Louisville Presbyterian Furlough Home, located on the Louisville Seminary campus, provides comfortable accommodations for up to four mission co-workers and their families on home assignment from overseas service to the church.
It affords the Seminary community an opportunity for dialogue with experienced missionaries, fraternal workers, and international visitors.
HISTORY

The Furlough Home was built with support from various women’s groups in the Presbyterian Church. The present home was opened in October 1964 and is owned and operated by the Louisville Presbyterian Furlough Home, Inc., on the property of Louisville Seminary.
AMENITIES

4 fully-furnished apartments are available to missionary families in need of temporary lodging in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky.
Two 2-bedroom units and two 3-bedroom units include:
- linens
- cable television
- wi-fi
- storage area
- communal laundry
- and more!
“We loved the location — closeness to Cherokee Park so we could take regular walks. We also loved the grounds of the Seminary itself and the availability of the Seminary library.”
